I played out both options to have a better understanding of how Gil responds to both choices. Where it falls short is actually more so in the overall execution of the presenting the choice to the player. My complaint was that it felt too abrupt and sudden after you have sex with Gil, you can LITERALLY have the conversation of being dadshad there been more of a lead up I think the conversation would feel more natural.

The remedy for this could have been that Ryder, Gil, and Jill meet up again and Gil could mention that he likes the idea of being a dad one day. This would prompt Jill to mention she too wants to be a parent and ask if Ryder and Gil would like to be the fathers. And to end this post, I mentioned that I played out both options; I really thought I was going to be okay with the not having the baby option.

I was wrong. I saw how excited Gil became at the prospect of being a dad and it all clicked; this is what his character was intended to accomplish, and it obviously makes him happy.

I'd want to raise the child with Jill. This further proves that his whole storyline revolves around wanting to be a dad.
