Joshua Fox has taken the little black book to new gay heights. In December, the author and content creator shared a "Grindr Wrapped" to social media that detailed statistics related to his hookups. Then, in a follow-up posthe revealed his scientific method.

According to Fox, he keeps a comprehensive breakdown of "every man I've been ever with" via a spreadsheet, which he printed out as a wall-length scroll to show his social media followers. Fox reveals that he records various data points from his Grindr rendezvous.

In the video, Fox showed columns delineating the names, sexual positions, and locations of his trysts. There were also notes on each subject: "Had a hole in his socks," "didn't douche thoroughly," "height doesn't equal hung," and "I didn't finish," among them.

Fox's research project really took off after divorcing his husband three years ago — the number of rows exploded afterward — and his spreadsheet includes notes on his emotional state going into each encounter. He has a new book, What You Into? So many other gay men are stuck in this same cycle but no one talks about it.
